Glenn Building
120 Marietta Street
The Glenn Building, dating from 1923, was built upon the construction of the Spring Street viaduct by the George Fuller Company. This characteristic early skyscraper, designed by a New York architecture firm, is 10 stories and faced with limestone and detailed with polychrome terra cotta. In 2000, Turner Properties announced plans for a major expansion next to the Glenn Building. Turner Properties considers the Glenn Building unsuitable for its use and has sought to have Easements Atlanta give up its easement or have the easement condemned by City Council.
